Top-tier Voluntary Benefits Universal Life Carrier Expands Robo-Advice Policy Remediation to Multiple Policyholder Correspondence Events

Philadelphia, PA, September 18, 2018 – CalcFocus announces today that the top-tier voluntary benefits universal life carriers that subscribed to CalcFocus cloud-hosted ‘as is’/ ‘what-if’ inforce illustrations and annual statement robo-advice document creation services has expanded robo-advice policy remediation with CalcFocus to multiple policyholder correspondence events. This innovative carrier recognizes that policyholder correspondence that only communicates the minimum amounts needed to keep a policy inforce or fails to proactively communicate remediation options is creating a policyholder disservice.

With this subscription, whenever a policy triggers pre-lapse, or a reinstatement is requested, or a rider is about to expire, or there is an extended period when planned premiums are not received correspondence is created that includes potentially multiple what-if CalcFocus solves to recommend strategies to keep policies “on track” through maturity.

“It is a pleasure to work with a truly vigilant carrier that regularly and often presents CalcFocus services  with sufficient policy information to determine whether policyholder goals are in jeopardy, and, when vulnerabilities are detected, to exercise however many CalcFocus solves are required to create one or more remediation recommendations”, says Tommy McCahill, CalcFocus’ President and CEO.

Sergei Iakimenko, CalcFocus’ chief architect, adds “We also appreciate that the carrier’s information technology team has been able to organize these many thousands of service requests across four different carrier legacy insurance companies and four different policy administration platforms.”
